                                 Amazing School Triathlon!

On, Friday on the twenty fourth I felt very exciting because it was the day to get ready for the triathlon. My sister jumped on my knees I was laughing and I couldn’t stop it. Then I was getting ready for the amazing triathlon today.

Earlier in the morning I was very excited because it was Paihia school I felt awesome so I got changed into my clothes and rushed to my bag and ran down stairs then I made lunch and got to the bus in time. I was at school getting ready.

When, the bell rang all of the class went to sit down. As we did it Te Moana was the last ones to get into the sea. And we were safe to cross the road

Breeze and I were at school, a big girl helped me to put on my shoes on and she said that we don’t need to put on our socks. I saw a school bike so I took it and I was biking as fast as a cheater,  I saw fire breaks and Mrs Neumann  I was coming fourth. Jade was coming second and Imogen was coming first. Then I was coming third and Mikaila was coming fifth at in the biking, so I tried my best. Then I came second place and my friend Jade was coming first. We got a peanut butter bar and it was super delicious.

Later it was the juniors turn. The juniors were staying at Paihia school and they were swimming in the school's pool.  They did two laps in the pool then they did two laps on the bike they went on to the field and they went on the bike track.

Iit was the most amazing thing in my whole life and I enjoyed it. The whole in entire school went home because of the fantastic day that we had in Paihia School Triathlon day. But before they went home Te Moana held the most amazing assembly in the world because we are the coolest class in the world.

When I got home I was exhausted, I fell down on my Mum and Dad’s bed. I was about to fell asleep like a cat, as the weather was as super hot as mars,  we went to the Lillypond to have a swim then we were nice and cool.

It was the fantastic day of my entire life from inside of my body to the top of my head, I loved it all the things in the triathlon.

            Tryathalon

On Friday we had our own school tryathlon. We did a swim then a run after we did a bike ride .

The water was as warm as a spa.  AJ and I were excited because it was the first time we had swam at the beach with the school, Sandy, salty, seaside.

I felt like an olympic  winner, splash splat as we dived in the water . Mum was cheering me on. The wind was pushing me.

I was as fast as a cheetah. The path was as hard as rock. My shoes felt like I was stepping on  slippery rocks, grey, gritty, gravel. I did four laps around the field  on the bike.

I was as brave as a risk taker. I was as happy as a baby girl. The pump track was as easy as maths. I was so proud of myself when I finished.

In my head I was saying use your wits, and I did!!

This is great training for the weetbix tryathlon.

                                                     

Isabella-Paige's Triathlon

Triathlon

               On Friday I felt  so happy as  Paihia School went to the sandy beach and Mrs Williams said, ”The year 4 are last,” but we finally got a turn. We ran in the  sandy water and it was really sandy.

We ran in but it was so warm and I came second in the swim. My mum said, “Go Isabella and I can hurry,  Go, go, go!” I splashed  in the run. Back to school I came second. They said, “You have to get your bike”, but I said that I am using the school bike so I got on number 8 and I walked my bike.

I was using  my kaha.. Mikaila and I got so tied that we wanted to walk.

        Mrs Neumann said, “Go and  have same lunch  I was hungr.y My mum came to sit with me, Jade, Mikaila, Neveah and  Angela. It was us fun. It was as SLIDELY Sparkly, Spankly, Spacely…….  It was so much fun. We had a big day. Then the Junior girls in our class got to have a big turn. Ataahua, Nikara and Zara  ran as  fast as dogs. Then it started to get cold. The wind was as cold as ice.

To condude, when I got home I was tired I almost feel like I was going to go to sleep immediately.

   

       

Imogen wins Her Triathlon

Our Triathlon

On Friday the whole of Paihia School participated in a triathlon, everyone was so excited. We all brought our bikes to school. The bikes, they were a storm.

Firstly, we called the roll and then we all walk to the beach it was like a storm. The year 4 girls were last to swim. We had been making sand castles it look like a pig had been boring a hole in the sand. We all lined up to swim in the rough water. Mrs Neumann told as that there was a huge drop off and it was like a huge whole.  So I did not run as fast as I could so I could stop myself. It was splashy! showering! shivery! shallow! I came first in the swim.

Secondly, we did the run I felt as though I could not do the biking. I think it was about a kilometre long. Angela and Jade passed me, and then we got to school I was so puffed out.

Thirdly, we did the biking. We all got on our shoes. I got a  ahead of everybody because I just had to put my sandals on. We had to do two laps of the field at school. I was first to do two laps over all I came first!!!!

Our School Triathlon!!!

When we got to school I was scared that I would lose but I was using kaha and went for the senior triathlon and I saw everybody so I wanted a go  I went to school. When I got to school I was nervous of everybody. I wanted to go really badly so I went and I saw my whole class there. But at first I didn't know that it was the whole class there I thought it was half a class.

Firstly, no I thought I don’t want to do this but I have to so I can be a winner. It finally started from the highest class to the lowest which is eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two and one. It was finally our turn but the boys went first and then it was us. It was our turn I thought that I would lose but I came fourth the whole class splashed in the water when I got in when I got out I was as cold as ice.

Secondly, It felt like I didn't move at all. We ran to the crossing but we didn't  straight run away across Jina put her hands up so that they no that somebody is coming.I saw green, gritty, grass. Then we ran across the crossing and we ran back to school to get the bikes.

Thirdly, I started to get tired but I new that I still need to I was slowing down a little bit but then I went faster and a little bit faster.  Mere was in front of me I said, “how much longer will this take?”. We had to go two laps around the field I was on the pump track as fast as a motor.

Fourthly, I went three times around the field and I was tired as a little really tired baby. I wanted to shout, “Nooooooo!” but I wanted to be a winner for my whole entire family.  

I put my shoes on I got a bike and then away I went to the field. On the field we can not stop well I thought that.

Fifthly, me, Isabella-Paige  and Mikila went around we walked  but we didn't know  what to do. Isabella-Paige’s mum said, “Come on girls you could do it” but I said “I did three laps I don't know about them” then Isabella's mum said to go around, then to go down the middle. We went down the middle and then we got  chocolate.

Sixthly, I saw my mum and then I wanted to say mum I am finished but I had to tell the teacher first but then I wanted it to be a surprise.  We then went to cheer on for the little kids. Then it was lunch and we waited for the bell to ring we put the bikes away and after the other bell rang we went home.

Seventhly, when I got home I was tired I almost fell asleep when I put my bag away. My family was so proud of me when I got home. I was so amazed too and then I went to sleep and then my nana and my mum tried to wake me up.

To conclude, When I was awake I could not move so my Mum and my Nana  Honey had to get things for me. I was amazed because we are not allowed in  the sitting room while we are eating. My brother and sisters were getting angry because they said “IT IS NOT FAIR” I thought it was because I could not feel my feet.

Triathlon at School

On Friday we had a triathlon we had to bring things we needed. We gave our forms to Ms N, before we could go to the triathlon. Everyone joined the seniors triathlon but four people from Te Moana joined the juniors. After we watched the seniors do the triathlon it was the juniors turn to do. We had to do the swimming first and then we go out and run.

We had three events, I came second in the race. Me and my friend had no shoes and bikes. We had to skip it cause we didn’t bring our shoes.

After that the bell rang for lunch time. The triathlon ended we had free icecreams in the whare kai but we had only one ice cream each. Everyone picked the lolly ice cream because it gives you gum. Our parents were coming to our assembly. They came before the triathlon we practiced early in the morning.

The seniors went biking to the beach they had a swim like the juniors before running. Kaavin won the triathlon at the end of it they had a prize for the finish. It was an bar, everyone in the seniors had to do 5 laps round the field. They were tired like a running man. We had to go in our classroom because the bell was going to ring the teacher told us to wait in the cloakroom. After the  bell rang we all rushed into the class and sat down for Mrs N.

We had to listen to our teacher everyone waited patiently for our assembly. Everyone was at the whāre waiting. We all sat down quietly when Mrs N. came she said, “ Oh, wow what an quiet class!” We went to the assembly our parents came in and watched.  Once we were finished everyone got out and had a restful weekend.

Kayden's Triathlon

School Tryathlon

On Friday we did a school tryathlon. Kaavin won the swimming, Dale came 2nd and Josh came 3rd. I came 4th.

Biking - Kaavin came first, Jahrell came 2nd and I came 4th.Running -Kaavin won his race.We got dressed, then we had lunch.We all got an ice cream from the Principal.

 We were very lucky to do a triathlon. At the beginning I felt tired  then we went back into class and did our work and practiced for assembly. We went to a assembly after the Tryathlon it was the end of the day. We packed  our bags and we went  home and it was the end of the
