Athletics Day

On Monday we went to go to Bledisloe Domain. I actually slept in because I had a busy weekend and ran my heart out around Watea and overdid practise.

I started doing the running race, “Ready, set, GO!!  I really could not catch my breath, I felt like I was melting like an ice cream on a stick. My sweat created a huge River. It felt like my brain was going to explode into millions of little pieces. I was running really fast,  they still couldn't catch me, two people nearly did. But unfortunately I tripped on some slippery pebbles and everyone passed me. “Good luck for next time, you must a champion in your heart!” said the teacher.  Apparently some people kids from other schools laughed at me thinking it was funny.

In the next race I had to pick up, I knew I couldn't give up I was so close so keep the money that my brother had dared that he would give me ten dollars. I did not want have to wear a looser shirt. I ran as fast as I could but they didn't give up no matter what. The morning my sweet, it was making a squid tornado behind me, I was still running even while my leg really hurts till 1:20, but I just want money so I  ran  as fast as I could. But I don't know why I stopped on the 400 metres race but then I realised that I could pass the finish line but I didn't win but if I didn't win it doesn’t matter because I tried. At least I didn't a trip.

Did everybody just have a good time, but next time I could win. It doesn’t really matter if you win or lose as long as you have done your best. I did not get my ten dollars, just ten miserable cents.

Action World Day  22.11.16.

On Wednesday I was going to Action World. The side was as slippery as a fish and as hard as a rock.

The bars were as high as a tower. It was as scary as a haunted castle. The rope was as long as a crocodile.

It  was as wobbly as the Monkey Bars.

I went on the big inflatable slide that was scarey as a wild dog.

Buddy Goal Setting

Twice a week Room Four students listen to,  read to and read with their buddies in Room Zero. They set goals for their younger buddies to achieve. In this way the older buddies are able to see the progress their buddies are achieving. "He who teaches learns twice" is the motto the students follow. Today they awarded their buddies with certificates for their reading improvement and reaching their goals. WELL DONE! Room Zero and Four.

On Wednesday morning room 0,1,2,3 and 4 went to Action World. Once we got to Action World we had some thing to eat but we were walking, we walked the biggest longest road crossing. everyone ran to the table and started to eat their food, when we went to go play Vinnie and I ran to the cars but on the way to the cars the lady said, “Don’t run, walk!”

On Wednesday morning room 0,1, 2, 3 and 4 all went to Action World at the same time. We destroyed the action world walk.Then we walked the most dangerous crossing ever.We finally arrived, it's the biggest  walk in my life it took us 5 minutes, Big right.

      We waited 5 minutes again and then we walked then we walk in. Everyone ran to the tables. One of the people that work at Action World came and told us all the rules. People who didn't know the rules of Action World they would stay at their table.       All the kids ran to the mini cars. Everyone push people over and Dale and I played tag with the Mini cars. I went to the battle axe game . I beat Harlem, Jamie, Lily Rose, Josh, Franky and Jeanie.

Action World Adventure 21. 11. 16

On Wednesday I was so excited .  I got  changed, got my lunch and drove to school. Next   we all buddied up . My buddy was Mikaila.  Next we started walking to  Action World. It was tiring but we got there.

So we waited to be greeted in,  we did. We all have a little bit of lunch. Finally Carol  came, she told us that we could  play  in 10 minutes.  So I ran  to  the  big  slide. I was the first  on it. It was scary  but  I got through.

                          

Then  I went on the huge rings I was terrified but it was hard to get over the big blue monster.  I was as hungry as a lion

Then I went on Fighting zone I knocked down five people in row.   

But sadly we left. We saw the seniors on the way out.

At Action World we played on the cars and Kingston could not control the car. I went on my own, Kingston crashed into me and I fell  down on to the grass and I got up and I played with Kingston.  I got my lunch before play time and I played with Harlem on the fighting zone.

On  Wednesday  we went  to  Action  World.   We waited to be invited into the fun zone.

I  went  on the  fighting  zone I fought   most people  but  my  cousin  whacked  me off the  fighting  zone  and  when I fell it was  existing but it was hard to get off.

When I got out I went on the enormous slide.I went speeding down like a cheater “Now that was fun” I said then when the lady said

“Girls come and play on the water slide,” the girls ran fast like a cheater  because they were  excited the boys had to wait. By the time it was the boys turn then when they turn the water slide off.  The boys had the get changed and had to go to the table that we had our morning tea and, lunch the lady was thanking us for coming to Action World

Then we left Action World and we all had fun.

 

Kingston's Fun Day

Action World Trip.

Yesterday we walked to Action World.

   Firstly we walked by the library to wait till we go.

Secondly we left school then we started leading off to Action World. Until that when we walked around the roundabouts, Jack gave my bag to me, we were both holding my bag each time. When we arrived there, we all started walking to the white tent and eating our morning tea. Later we saw Carol coming to the tent explaining all the riding rules. We were quiet as a sneaky mouse.

She said we had to do, Top, bottom, bomb. So she told everybody to go play, first I went on the Racing Rollers.

Soon I went onto the seesaw, It was so much fun. After that Carol called the boys to go play on the Slip ‘n’ Slide. Later after that I went down the Slip ‘n’ Slide 5 times but after I was shivering so much. After that I went to go get changed in the changing rooms. After that I went back on the racing rollers, so I could have a ride on it. Soon we packed all our gears in my bag. Then we saw  Ethan Jumping on the Trapeze.

Later after that we backed to school, It was a Fun day at Action World.

Josh's Trip to Action World

Paihia School went to Action World .We had to walk from school all the way to Action World. When we got there we sat down. A lady Carol told us that we had to wait 5 minutes.                                                                                                                         

After the 5 minutes we were allowed to play. I went on the crow fight. On my first try I fell But on my second one I got back up and I bet Archie.

On  Wednesday  Room  Four  went  to Action World. The  first thing I did was the  rock climbing  wall  I  liked  it  so so much  because it was amazing.  When  Carol  blew  the  whistle  all  the girls  rushed  to    get  their togs on, then when it  was my turn.

On  the water  slide,  I was zooming down   the  water slide  at  the  end  of  the  water slide.  The  water  just  splashed  into my  face  at the  end  of the  water  slide.

When I get to the end of the water slide I was  so happy   that  I  got  to  the  end  because   it  is  so!!!!!!!!!!      freaky   going   down    the    slide    because  it    is     long.

ACTION WORLD!

Goal: To tell a recount

On Wednesday I was so scared that it would rain so I thought to myself, HMMM? Maybe i should check the weather on the T.V? “Yes it’s not going to rain”!  This was at 5:00 in the morning i quickly got dressed the weather was as hot as a stove (sunny) when I arrived at school we had to get our things ready, When the bell rangwe all came back in class.

                Mrs Neuman said instead of carrying a big heavy bag maybe you could share a bag and have a buddy. My buddy was Lilli~Rose she was a fabulous buddy. As soon as room 4, 3, 2, 1, 0,  headed out of School Road some people were singing and skipping. Once we got there we had to be patient then we got in everybody was yelling I had to block my ears.

So we walked carefully walked over to the lunch table and we all had something to eat  at the end we had a swim it was Girls on the water slide first. Then the Boys on the water slide afterwards.

First I went on Jump over Sisi the Monster, it was awesome but it was most likely to rain because everything would be slippery it would be called the slippery slimy slide but that’s not what we want and then at then end I went on the fighting wall and that was the end of my Action World!

    On Wednesday at 9 o'clock  We were going to Action World we packed our bags.  Then started to walk down School Rd.

      

          We all Had a buddy I had Mark. Soon we made it. We had Some morning tea. After the lady Told us That we can go We ran to the games like animals .

    

         First I ran to the little cars. I also did the corn dog fighting … I was fighting Vinnie he just won! Soon I went on the water slide I got dressed then  ran up to the top of the water slide. I was super fast and we got really cold at the bottom of the slippery slide. I zoomed down 4 times then ran off. Then I went on the cars then we walked home.

    

         Lilli~Rose saw her Mum she got picked up, we kept walking to school. I can't wait until we go to Action World again.

Lucas has Fun at Action World

Action World

On Wednesday morning Room  0 ,1, 2, 3, and 4,  were going to   Action World.  We were having a long walk. We finally got to Action World

We were having a fun time.I went on the biggest slide, I was sort of scared but I overcame my fears and slid down uncomfortably with hot feet as fast as a cheetah. It felt like I was on fire. Everyone loves  the water slide.

On Wednesday it was an exciting day because it was Action World and the only classes that were going were Room 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. When we got there there were some rules and there was a lady.  The first activity I did was the Rock  Climbing Then I went next activity was the water slide and it was as slippery as an ice block, then we went back to school.

On Wednesday  we   left at  9 am Mrs Neumann  said,  “We are coming back at 12 pm.”   

All  room  0, 1, 2, 3 and 4  went   but  it was  fun  Nike and  I  went   on a  MIRROR  BALL.

When  Alay  said,  “Come, have a go  on the  slide.”  I RUSHED  and  looked in my bag Mum said, “I need not pack your  togs,  but mum did,  I put mum togs on, it was so cool!”  When I came  back up I said to my friend it was as slippery as  ice.

One  Wednesday morning I woke up early In the morning but I thought we were not  going to Action World anymore. But we did it anyway, So we got ready.

When I  hopped on the bus  me and my friends were talking  about   going  to Action world, they sounded really cool.

When we got to school we went to say goodbye to the senior teachers because we had to go to Action World but then we had to go it was very exciting .

On our way to Action world we past a Motel, playground, Sea, My house and Countdown. Finally we were there, it looks really cool from where I was.

  who owns Action World said that we can go play on the activities. The first thing I did was go on the rock climbing wall, then the ladder, then the sack activity next, the bars then I had something to eat!.

After that I grabbed my togs got dressed and ran up the water slide but after I went down the water slide I was as cold as ice, “Burrrr”

I was so sad that we had to go (sad smile) Then I paired up with my buddy and started joining the line. I had a great time I didn’t want to go I was so sad but we had to go. “I’ll miss you !!!!!!! Action World”

Action World Trip by Lilli-Rose

                          “Action World”

Yesterday I Walked all the way to Action World, and I am here to tell you about it. First we had to pair up with a partner, so I chose to  be with Nevaeh. We used my bag and put some of here lunch, and my lunch in it. We didn’t put our book bag in because it would be to heavy. We are now half way Nevaeh and I are having turns carrying it.

Finally we are there carl the owner gave us a Talk  about Action World, then we started playing on the activities. The first thing I went on was the ladder, when I went on I was so close to the bell, and everyone was cheering, and I rang the bell Then I fall of the ladder, I was so happy that I got there.

Then I walked over to the monkey bar one, and waited in line for my turn. It took such a long time but It was finally my turn. I swung from the first bar, to the second bar and then the next bar then, I tried to jump over the monster, but I failed.

Next I ran onto the climbing Rockwall, I was pretty good. When I rang the bell I filled up with joy I was so happy. Then I heard the girl that worked say “Girls time to go on the water slide!”

So I rushed to get my togs, and ran excitedly into the changing room lots of girls were getting changed, it was like a bundle of hippos. After I got dressed I rushed to put my clothes into my bag, and then I ran up to the line for the water slide it took a long time for my turn, but that was Okay.   

Finally it is my turn “ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” It was so much fun I was having a blast I went on the water slide I went on twice. It was as slippery as a soap.Then I got dressed I was as cold as a  winter  day. I then went on the fighting one, and I hit jamie with the soft hitting stick.

I was so sad it was time to go, but I had to when we walked to the gas station my mum came and picked me up. Nobody else got picked up so I was kind of special, I had such a blast but I had to go It was as special as a fabulous show.
