This activity is part of our inquiry unit about our school marae. We are showing that we actually care for others by doing something for them rather than just talking about it.

Room Four were kindly invited to share lunch with Room Three in our
whare kai. We felt very privileged and so excited to be having a special
supplement to our lunch. Their chicken soup and toast tasted so delicious. We
used some figures of speech such as similes and alliteration to describe it.
-noodles as slippery as snakes
-as crunchy as toast
-as tasty as Chinese takeaways
-as juicy as spaghetti
-scrumptious as a gourmet entree
-as munchy as potato chips
-sharing
is caring
