Dear Matua Mori,

Thank you for taking us to the Treaty Grounds it was fun.The waka and the whare runanga surprised me. Matua taught us two games.The first game that Matua should us was runga, raro, maui matau, that game was fun. After that Matua told us the last game it was paddling up the hoe. It was fun.

Then after that we went to walk up the hill to see the whare. When we got to the top of the hill we saw the whare then we all went inside the whare. There were some kowhaiwhai panels and tukutuku weaving in the whare. They were colourful and koru patterns.  We saw some seats, after that Matua told us all of the things about the carvings. I wish we could go there again.
